Background
Lysara Biosciences, formerly known as Op2Lysis, focuses on innovative treatments for haemorrhagic stroke. Its research heritage includes O2L-001, an investigational treatment designed to help remove blood clots within the brain following intracerebral haemorrhage. The programme combines OptPA, an engineered tissue-type plasminogen activator, with the NANOp2Lysis® delivery technology for local, sustained release within the clot. The aim is to support haematoma clearance and improve outcomes for patients with this serious unmet medical need.
